Funary works with a small number of providers, each for a specific purpose:

  • OVHcloud, in France: hosting of the service and the data, encrypted storage of documents, backups and sending emails;

  • Scaleway, in France (Paris): analysis of a letter when you ask for it, after lines that look like medical information have been removed on your phone;

  • Google, for Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivery of notifications to iOS and Android phones, with a general text and no personal information;

  • Apple: App Store, payment for the Family file on iPhone and sign-in with an Apple ID;

  • Google Play: payment for the Family file on Android.

Apple and Google only receive an anonymous Funary identifier, used to link a purchase to your account.
